Barcelona asks 3 players to leave the club before the end of June

The transfer meeting between Xavi and the Barcelona administration resulted in an agreement on the required deals, but above all it was made clear that it was necessary to get rid of some players in order to strengthen the team with new contracts.

The club will intensify its efforts to release several players and the decision is clear: three players must leave in particular and the absolute priority is for two of these operations to be carried out in June.

There are no half solutions anymore because the necessity is urgent. The feasibility plan approved by La Liga must be implemented and Barcelona cannot wait any longer because the market is advancing and opportunities may be lost.

There will be a few signings of the required quality, although the aim now is to work on sales that have been badly slowed by players’ refusal to leave. This must change.

The director of football, Mateu Alemany, will once again talk to the players’ agents to activate offers as soon as possible, and coach Xavi Hernandez must play an important role.

Xavi will make it clear to the three players: Ferran Torres, Ansu Fati and Franck Kessé, that they will not have a place in the team next season due to the club’s decision. The economic situation is in crisis and radical decisions must be taken if the project is to develop.

The three players have, so far, made it clear that they have no intention of leaving. Ansu has an offer from Wolverhampton and his agent, Jorge Mendes, is looking for other, better destinations, but Fati has already sent a message that he has no intention of leaving.

As for Ferran Torres, the player asked for opportunities and did not understand that the door was open for him when it was Xavi who bet on him. He left Manchester City pressed to leave and is now on the transfer list.

He’s young and thinks he can turn it around, but the club and the coaches don’t see it that way. In other circumstances, they would have had more patience, but now the club needs to reduce salaries and there are many teams that have noticed this.

Meanwhile, Kessé has already communicated through his agent that his wish is to continue at Barcelona. Barcelona’s idea in his case is to sell him to the Premier League for more than 30 million euros, but if that is not possible, they will open the exchange option with Inter Milan. It is important that one or two of these operations take place before June 30th.
