Hansi Flick has reviewed his first few days in charge of the team and has referred to names such as Thiago, Lamine, Lewandowski… In addition, he has revealed some of the guidelines that Barcelona will follow in 24-25.
“Here the tradition is to play with passing, but I also want them to go straight to the goal,” he explained in an interview with Barça ONE .
“They should focus a bit more on scoring. I don’t think my style has any major changes. I’m looking for the same thing, to press high up, and to play in the opponent’s midfield. But, at the end of the day, you have to win,” added the coach.
Hansi Flick has also made it clear that he wants his players to be at their best in each session and that he wants to have a ‘6’ who is careful in defence. “If you train at 80 percent, you’ll never be able to perform at 100 percent in the match,” he said.
The former coach explained that he wants to have a close relationship with the players and that he does not tolerate lateness because he considers it a lack of respect, although he is not in favour of financial penalties.
