Inter Miami tied with Nashville 2-2 in the first leg of the round of 16 of the CONCACAF Champions League, which was held at dawn today, in which former Barcelona stars Messi and Suarez, as well as Sergio Busquets, participated.
Lionel Messi scored Inter Miami’s first goal before Luis Suarez equalized in the fifth minute of stoppage time, so the decision was postponed until the return match, which will be held next Thursday, March 14.
The match witnessed exciting events for most of its time, as Messi was subjected, as usual, to harassment and violent interventions from Nashville players, but in one of them, the world champion could not control himself and entered into a quarrel with one of the players, which caused Luis Suarez to intervene to defend him.
