Bayern has set the signing of Ronald Araujo as its priority objective in an unprecedented offensive with a lot of money involved. According to ‘Sky Germany’, Barça has already called on the Uruguayan to talk about an improvement and contract extension but the player’s entourage is in no hurry and the Germans are clinging to this option to try to convince him next summer. Bayern have already sounded out Araujo to try to sign him this January. Thomas Tuchel even spoke with the footballer but Araujo does not want to leave Barça…for now.
The German club was willing to pay more than 70 million euros to hire him, a figure that the Blaugrana club did not even hear. They are clear that if the offensive goes forward in the summer, the figure should approach 100 million between fixed assets and objectives.
