Xavi cursed and insulted Barca player in Las Palmas game

Xavi and Raphinha had their ups and downs during the first half of the match between Las Palmas and Barcelona . It was with the home team at 1-0, when Gundogan picked up a ball in the center of the field and offered a long pass to Raphinha who, upon receiving, was penalized for offside.

The action, due to not knowing how to measure the line marked by the defense, irritated Xavi Hernández who, from the sideline, shouted at Raphinha recriminating the action: “Rafa, Rafa…” he snapped, dissatisfied with the Brazilian’s decision to advance these meters that placed him offside. Movistar TV even claimed that during his complaints, Xavi had insulted Raphinha.

The nerves were on edge due to the bad impression that FC Barcelona was offering and for being behind on the scoreboard.

Raphinha, upon realizing that Xavi was criticizing him, turned towards the coach and even went to the touchline to explain the play with which he had been sanctioned.

Barça was in a difficult moment because Barça had not shot at the opposing goal on any occasion, but was a puppet at the hands of a newly promoted team, with García Pimienta on the bench and with Munir as the scorer of the goal that had advanced to Las Palmas on the scoreboard.
