Joao Felix invites Liverpool’s “bulldozer” to join Barcelona: “I like your game and you can play here one day”

The Portuguese winger invited one of Liverpool’s brilliant players this season to join Barcelona because he admires the way he plays and wants to play alongside him and hopes that will happen in the Catalan club.

Although he is on loan and may not be able to continue his career at Barcelona if the Catalan club is unable to reach an agreement with Atletico Madrid at the end of the season to renew his loan or buy him permanently, he is showing a remarkable adaptation to Xavi’s team since joining in the last days of the summer transfer market.

His last goal was scored against the team to which he still belongs, Atletico Madrid, in the summit that ended with Barcelona’s 1-0 victory in La Liga last week, and he is looking forward to continuing his success in the Champions League after qualifying for the round of 16.

When Joao Felix was asked about the player he would like to play alongside, he replied: “Dominik Szoboszlai, from Liverpool. I like his game and I think he could play here one day”.

Dominik Szoboszlai has made a perfect start to his Liverpool career Arriving as part of the club’s midfield overhaul in the summer, the £60m signing from RB Leipzig has been an instant success for the Reds. Szoboszlai’s eye-catching displays in midfield have helped set the tone for Jurgen Klopp’s new-look side, who sit two points off top spot after 15 games.
