The contract signed between both parties was very clear: Dembélé was released in his last season as a Barça player after paying a termination clause of 50.4 million euros. Of that money, 25.4 million were for FC Barcelona and 25 for the footballer and, of course, also for his agent. How they divided it up is his problem.
What does not add up is that FC Barcelona announced that it has received 35.4 million from PSG. If with the passage of time, Mousa Sissoko and Dembélé do not denounce FC Barcelona in court, it will be for only one reason: because they have reached an unofficial, secret agreement.
And because? Very simple: given the economic situation of FC Barcelona with the fulfillment of the financial ‘fair play’ and the difficulties to register players, having 10 million more is a relief and a blessing. So throwing a little more transparency and truth into things is never a bad thing.
