The Spanish newspaper AS said that Paris Saint-Germain has identified a replacement for Kylian Mbappe, in the event of his departure to Real Madrid or any other team, from Barcelona.
The newspaper confirmed that the Spanish coach, Luis Enrique, the new coach of the Parisian team, asked Luis Campos and Nasser Al-Khulaifi to sign the Barcelona striker to compensate for the possible departure of Kylian Mbappe.
It seems that the Mbappe series is about to end 5 years after joining Paris Saint-Germain, as the relationship between the two parties worsened, and his departure became certain, especially after he was excluded from the team’s pre-season tour in Japan.
And according to the Madrid newspaper, Paris Saint-Germain wants to sign French winger Ousmane Dembele in the event of the departure of Kylian Mbappe in the current summer Mercato.
It also confirms that Laporta will agree to sit at the negotiating table with Paris Saint-Germain due to the contractual circumstance of Dembele, as his contract expires in 2024 and has a penalty clause of 50 million euros, which will rise to 100, as of the first of next August.
Instead of losing him for free in 2024, Barcelona will agree to sell him to Paris Saint-Germain for 100 million euros or less, to use this money to meet Xavi’s requests, as the Catalan coach wants to strengthen his team with a right-back at the highest level, as well as a midfielder.
