Mikayil Faye underwent a medical at the Sporting City, which is the last step before he is officially a new Barcelona player. His agents, including former Atletico Madrid player Juanma López, met this morning with Mateu Alemany to close the player’s transfer.
FC Barcelona has been following the Senegalese player for a long time, who has distinguished physical strength and can play as a center back or full back. He arrived from Kostusica, a team in the Croatian second division.
At the age of 18, he caught the eye of clubs like Chelsea and Borussia Dortmund, who were also on his way but Barcelona were ahead.
