Sky Sports said in its German version that Bayern Munich wants to sign Barcelona winger Ravenha, and claimed that the Bavarian club wants to include two players in the deal to reduce the financial value that the Catalan team will demand.
Bayern Munich’s interest in including Ravenha comes after a request from its coach, Thomas Tuchel, who wanted to sign with him last summer when he was coach of Chelsea, but the Brazilian winger preferred to move to Barcelona in a deal valued at 56 million euros.
At the moment, Barcelona seem to prioritize keeping Rafinha in the team, although they will put him on the market if necessary to solve his financial problems.
There are other unmet sales priorities and the club needs some big sales to get a margin for new signings such as Javi, Araujo and new signings.
In case of need, Ravenha can be the player sacrificed because he is a coveted player in the market.
Rafinha will also keep Newcastle interested in signing him, although the player, for the time being, does not want to leave the club.
Barcelona’s new sporting director, Deco, will arrive this week to speak to him as he is still his agent. Deco made it clear to the Barcelona board that he would like Rafinha to continue, but would try to close a transfer if the club’s need for it was greater.
Sky did not specify the names of the players proposed by the Bayern Munich administration in the exchange deal with Barcelona, but confirmed that Joshua Kimmich was not one of them.
